Local Vertical:: Interceptors

For a Saturday, this day is sure rather Tuesday-feeling. What it might need is a good electro psychedelic kick, and I think we've got one. The band is Screen Vinyl Image, a gazey mix of Tangerine Dream to early Chicago House, My Bloody Valentine to The Jesus and Mary Chain. Jake & Kim Reid mix guitars, beats, synths, bass, voice, drums, programming, triggering, and samples into a dreamy, synth-filled organized chaos of sounds that are a perfect backdrop to any future supernova; their live shows feature 2,100 watts of strobes that would put anyone's senses into a realm of their own. Highly recommended.
Also, we're doing an awesome tour this week with two fantastic bands, Luxa and Ports of Call.
