Screen Vinyl Image - maximal verfuzzter Psychosound
By: Benedikt
(text has been translated as best as possible)
Safranin Sound is an exciting label. From the small label of ex-shoegazer's Alcian
Blue, there are currently new and quite good bands to
report. If you like the sound of the early Cassandra Complex (remember
Moscow Idahoe!) to begin, Suicide,
The Telescopes, A Place to Bury Strangers and
Spaceman 3, you are likely to love the
electrified, maximally verfuzzten Psychosound of Screen Vinyl image.
After an EP, a single and a split vinyl, it seems now the long and eagerly awaited debut CD of the relatively light-shy
band around the couple (!) Named Kim and Jake Reid. Although the degree
of similarity to the name pairs brothers Jim and William Reid a musical
band quite similar to my knowledge is purely coincidental. The CD is in
any case class. Absolutely recommendable! A song may we offer
here, the rest is available as a stream on the website of the band.
And which gives still on Safranin? In the portfolio of the label the Vandelles, Alcian Blue, Ceremony, Antiques and Safe is as to Home. Strike all together more or less into the same in music top notch. Darkly, loud, distorts and psychoaactive… Voila!
